Hi, I'm Carolyn.
I identify as a caregiver more than anything else in life.
My life’s worth of highlight moments involve helping others feel valued, supported, and capable of growth, without feeling belittled by some type of “know-it-all.”
As a therapist, my caregiving translates to a down to earth style that emphasizes what’s most practical in getting you to where you’d rather be. My education, licenses, and certifications provide the process with a safe and secure framework to do this more efficiently than you can imagine.
I come from a background of Certified Eye-Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, years of practicing Trauma-Informed, Licensed Mental Health Counseling, a professionally competitive sport, and a success-driven family dynamic. I have lived, breathed, and now specialize in using EMDR Therapy to help others overcome mental health symptoms that make them feel trapped in loops of self-defeating thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, because of unresolved things in the past.
While I’m here for you now & down the line,
I’m most passionate about seeing my clients get back to thriving without therapy and with their own passions in life.

Paying out-of-pocket for therapy doesn’t have to cost you your entire savings, especially if it works in as little as 3-4 sessions.
Sounds crass, but if we’re honestly on the same page, you’ll be proud and excited to save your money and time for making more meaningful memories.
As much as I love seeing my clients, I’m not the therapist that’s going to baby them and keep them coming back, just so I can put a little more money in my pocket.
Mental & emotional hoarding without proper sorting, results in collecting some life lessons that are useful, and some that are traumatic. Like any home that’s lived in can get too messy in between deep cleans, so too can our minds!
It’s not the end of the world, time to start from scratch, or even time to renovate the life you love.

When you can function without therapy,
we stop scheduling it.
