EMDR
THERAPY
is a non-invasive, evidence-based mental health therapy treatment, that with a highly trained or Certified EMDR Therapist, should feel like a structured series of naturally flowing, guided meditation prompts. It allows you to experience peaceful aspects of meditation, while activating, to neutralize, any upsetting memory details that've been lingering in your mind, since your first and worst experiences with the mental health symptom(s) you want more control over. EMDR gives you the opportunity to revist safer feeling versions of the past, but in the present, and with the proper tools for closure you didn't have access to back then. Having closure to crappy things from the past will resolve your body's urges to trigger your silent panic sessions, frustrating emotions, unnecessarily protective boundaries, avoidance, and/or internally destructive tendencies, when in vaguely similar situations today.
